Biography
Jonathan is a nationally recognized condominium lawyer and litigator, having been lead counsel on more reported cases in condominium law than any other condominium litigation lawyer in Canada. Jonathan has acted for condominium developers, condominium corporations, mortgagees, unit owners and managers. In addition, Jonathan has acted as a legal consultant to other law firms on a number of major condominium development projects.
Jonathan was awarded the title of Fellow of the Canadian Condominium Institute for his accomplishments as a founding director, founding member and past president of the Institute. He has lectured and written extensively on the subject of condominium law, and has served as an instructor for the Law Society of Upper Canada in its Bar Admission Course. Jonathan is a member of the College of Community Association Lawyers at the Community Association Institute and the second Canadian lawyer ever to be admitted. Jonathan is also currently a member of the Professional Development and Associates Committees of the Association of Condominium Managers of Ontario (ACMO).
