Mapúa Institute of Technology (MIT, or simply Mapua) is a private college located in Intramuros, Manila. It was founded by the first registered Filipino architect, Don Tomás Mapúa in 1925, a graduate of Cornell University. After he died, the school was continued by his children and grandchildren until it was sold to the Yuchengco Group of Companies in 1999.
