Biography
Baritone Joseph Dhanens completed his M.M. in Vocal Performance at CSU, Fullerton under the guidance of Dr. Mark Goodrich and is now in the private studio of esteemed operatic baritone Rodney Gilfry. He teaches voice at CSU, Fullerton, and in addition to teaching, is an active performer in the operatic and musical theater genres. He has appeared in Die Zauberflöte with the Operafestival di Roma, and recently sang the role of Escamillo in Bizet's Carmen with Redlands Opera Theater. Recent musical theater productions include Sondheim’s Into the Woods and starring as Lord Evelyn Oakleigh in Cole Porter’s Anything Goes.
