Juan Escarfuller, M.A., M.Div. is Director of Leadership Training and Biblical Pastoral Ministry at Instituto Fe y Vida. His academic focus includes ministry in Latinx communities, leadership formation, dismantling racism, and biblical hermeneutics. He has served as Director of Hispanic Ministry for the Archdiocese of Saint Louis, Missouri, and project manager for the largest and longest NIH-funded obesity prevention study with Latinx children at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, raised in New Orleans, he holds degrees from Yale and Aquinas Institute of Theology, and did graduate studies in the New Testament at Vanderbilt.
