Biography
Juan Gonzalez currently teaches Economics at Loyola Marymount University and Real Estate Investment at USC Marshall School of Business (part-time). Juan is also an investment professional and advisor focused on institutional real estate investment and development opportunities in Mexico and the U.S. He currently lives in Los Angeles, California.His experience includes Managing Director at 7 Bridges Capital Partners, a U.S. based Latin America focused institutional real estate investment company. Juan started his career as Financial Economist, leading research on capital markets real estate finance vehicles for Mexico´s Central Bank between 2000 and 2006. He also taught Growth Stage Venture Management and Economics at the School of Management at Cal Lutheran University (Spring 2023), as well as International Banking at ITAM’s Banking, Credit and Risk Management Institutional Diplomat Program in Mexico City (Spring and Fall 2006).
Juan received a bachelor´s degree in Economics from Universidad de las Américas – Puebla (Magna Cum Laude, 1999) and an MBA from UCLA Anderson (2004). Juan is also an active triathlete (member of Mexico’s National Team for his age group ITU World Championships in 2014 and 2015).
