Biography
Julie was born into an entrepreneurial family, so it should be no surprise that she has dedicated her career to building better businesses. At the age of 21, she punched her international card in Paris, working for a PR Agent representing the top fashion photographers in the world. When she returned to her home state of Pennsylvania, she ventured into an entrepreneurship institute in Philadelphia, focused on working with entrepreneurs on launching new businesses. By the age of 25, Julie was recruited to lead a venture capital organization bridging the gap between early stage companies and the venture communities, where she reviewed hundreds if not thousands of business opportunities and witnessed just a handful rise to the top.
Julie later transferred to Atlanta, GA, where she applied my business acumen to develop the strategic practice at a leading interactive advertising agency. Applying her business intelligence to marketing solutions, Julie worked with Fortune 100 and 500 companies to develop solutions that delivered positive return on investment. Soon, she was ready to take the next step in her career and launch her own company, founding Junction Creative Solutions (Junction) at the age of 30.
Since its inception in 2008, Julie’s firm has grown from a one woman show to a full-service strategic partner with companies ranging from startups to the Fortune 500. With Junction, Julie combines her venture capital experience with her proven track record as a senior business strategist, building an agency that provides not just consistent and impactful solutions, but also a stable environment for clients and employees alike.
Her portfolio includes measurable integrated strategies for prominent brands across various industries, including Yahoo!, Mailboxes Etc., National City Corporation (PNC Bank), GE Energy, Mohawk Industries, Schweitzer-Mauduit International, Inc. (SWM), and Alcatel-Lucent. Early stage companies in the portfolio include AcuteCare Telemedicine, Intelaplay, Competitive Sports Analysis, Guardian Watch, the National Tennis Foundation, Saffire Vapor, Lucy’s Market, Motion Stability, and WWWT Ventures.
Growing her business by 300% annually, Julie established the JXN Executive Roundtable in 2012 as a resource for entrepreneurs, senior executives, and marketing leaders. She remains actively involved in industry organizations, often participating as an expert panelist or guest speaker.

Sustainability in a Fragmented Marketing Economy
With the advent of new technologies and drastic changes in consumer behavior, the marketing economy has become increasingly fragmented into niches, each responsible for a different branch of the overall marketing effort: email marketing, eCommerce, mobile, social, etc. This division of labor across dozens of channels has only made it more difficult to maintain the uniformity of the message. The challenge for agencies and marketers is to cut through the clutter of all these disparate frequencies.
