Dr. Yang is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics, Statistics, and Data Science at Loyola Marymount University. Her research interests include causal inference, semiparametric efficiency theory, applied statistics, and economics. Her methodological work focuses on developing robust statistical methods for causal inference in observational studies where researchers may not know which causal models or assumptions are correct. She is also interested in applying statistical methods to address questions with social impact in economics, engineering, and biomedical research.
