Biography
Kaleem is a founding partner of strategy and design research consultancy True Insight, based in Toronto.
As a strategist, consultant and researcher, Kaleem helps global companies, agencies, startups and governments create great experiences and solve complex problems. Over two decades, he has worked with clients that include leaders in consumer electronics, mobile technology, Internet services, software, health care, financial services, telecom and security.
Kaleem is a frequent speaker at international conferences on topics related to user experience, design and strategy, including the Interaction Design Association (IxDA) Interaction global conference, Ethnographic Praxis in Industry Conference (EPIC), iP3 Forum and the IBM Centers for Advanced Studies Conference (CASCON).
He is an industry advisor to Ryerson University, OCAD University sLab and the Mobile Experience + Design conference. Kaleem leads the UX Irregulars, the largest user experience design professionals' group in Canada; founded the UX Book Club Toronto; and co-founded the InteractionCamp unconference.
Kaleem is an active member of professional user experience design groups that include the Association for Computing Machinery Special Interest Group on Computer-Human Interaction (ACM SIGCHI), the Information Architecture Institute (IAI) and the Interaction Design Association (IxDA).
