Biography
Katharine Noon is a Professor in the LMU Department of Theatre Arts. She teaches a range of acting and styles courses and directs in the LMU production season. Professor Noon is also the Artistic Director of the Ghost Road Company, an ensemble focused on creating Ensemble Devised and collaboratively created new work for the stage.

A commission from the Polish
Consulate in Los Angeles and the Mickiewicz Institute in Warsaw to direct A Couple of Poor Polish-Speaking Romanians by Dorota Maslowska at The Lillian Theatre in Los Angeles. The Bargain and the Butterfly (Director/Conceiver) at South Coast Repertory Theatre, Kommuna Warsawa in Warsaw and Artworks Theatre in Los Angeles. Pantofelnik’s Suitcase (Director) by Malgorzata Sikorska-Miszczuk at Atwater Village Theatre and the Korczak Festival in Warsaw. Stranger Things – an adaptation of The Stranger by Camus (collaborator/performer) at The Ko Festival in Amherst and AVT in Los Angeles. Home Siege Home, an adaptation of the Oresteia (Director/Conceiver) at
NaCl (New York), Arcata Playhouse, Getty Villa, and [Inside] the Ford. Her company, the Ghost Road Company has also made numerous trips to Poland to collaborate with such companies as Studium Teatralne and Teatr ZAR. Katharine is also the recipient of the Lee Melville Award for contribution to Los Angeles Theatre.
