Storytelling: The Dying Art for Influencing Decision Makers
An overwhelming amount of data and information is easily accessible via the internet and search engines. This tempts influencers to conclude that data alone is what persuades and sticks with decision-makers. However, a compelling story with supporting data will connect with the emotions of the decision-maker and have a greater impact. This is because our emotional centers drive assessments of what is important and needs to be remembered, not our intellect.
