Biography
Kayla Wolf is a political scientist whose research focuses primarily on political behavior, specifically socialization and gender and politics. Her dissertation project focuses on how education impacts attitude formation and political behavior. In this project, Wolf analyzes how attending college affects democratic citizenship by influencing the policy preferences and ideologies of potential voters. She is a PhD candidate at the University of Southern California specializing in American Politics and Quantitative Methodology, with a graduate certificate in Gender and Sexuality Studies.
She received her bachelor's in Political Science and Theology from Fordham University and her master's in Political Science and International Relations from USC. She has an extensive teaching background and has been the instructor on record for many courses at Pepperdine University and California State University Dominguez Hills, prior to beginning at LMU.
