Biography
I have published an award-winning article, "Our Teachers Are Not Prepared" (English Journal, Vol. 94, No. 4, March 2005) and have published numerous articles for Lost Treasure Magazine and You & Me Medical Magazine. I have given lectures concerning my experiences with TBI, and look forward to advocating for the brain injured far into the future. I have also co-authored a memoir, Lost in My Mind: A Story of Traumatic Brain Injury, in which I discuss strategies and advice for the TBI, as well as their caretakers.
