Biography

Kraig serves ThoughtWorks as a Principal Consultant with over fifteen years of experience in Information Technology. He brings extensive expertise in planning, managing, and executing complex projects/programs in a wide variety of business and technical domains. He is strongly skilled in leading the exploration, analysis, and synthesis of issues affecting the performance of value streams and business processes. In teams, he regularly facilitates the analysis of the current state of operations, the discovery of a common vision for success, and the planning of the business and technical solution required to meet complex and evolving business needs.

Throughout his experience as a consultant, Kraig has developed strong skills bringing teams together and introducing Agile and Lean values, principles, and practices to support delivery. He is often found coaching whole teams to success and supporting his team members’ on-the-job development.

Kraig’s expertise as a consultant enabled him to serve as ThoughtWorks’ global Director of Training and Education, driving the company’s commercial and operational initiatives for learning and development. Through this experience, he developed strong expertise in strategic planning and execution, Lean thinking and methods, organizational development, and competency-based training & development for IT. He continues to leverage this experience to ensure his clients and teams carry a holistic view of the problem and solution domains, creating options for achieving success.

He is heavily involved in ThoughtWorks’ communities of practice and consults with companies on product development, service design, enterprise- and team-level Lean and Agile adoption, strategy development and execution, and value-stream improvement.
