Biography
Prior to joining the Cambrian team in 2011 as Director, Financial Services, Morrissey held several positions, which added to her leadership experience in the financial sector.
These included roles as senior manager with KPMG, where she was responsible for managing audit processes and client relations, along with conducting benchmarking analysis, operational reviews and process improvements for clients; and as a financial analyst and senior credit advisor with Imperial Oil Limited.
Since August 2013, Morrissey has served as Vice President, Finance and Administration, where she has furthered her track record of developing innovative financial solutions while leading a strong, collaborative and performance-driven team.
Morrissey has been involved in a number of local and provincial committees, including the Ministry of Training Colleges and Universities, Facilities Conditions Committee, as well as the Audit Committee of the Sudbury District Catholic School Board.
In addition to her accounting designation, she holds an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree from Laurentian University.

Following a national search conducted by an executive search firm, Cambrian College today announced the appointment of Kristine Morrissey as Cambrian’s Vice President, Finance and Administration. A chartered accountant since 2000, Morrissey brings a strong financial background to the position, as well as a wealth of experience in both the private and public sectors.
