Podcast Host for and Librarian Educator at Capital District Health Authority

I co-host and produce, a regular video production with hosts Amber Mac in Toronto and Jeff MacArthur in Halifax. Segments include technology and social media news and analysis, interviews, product reviews, and more. The show launched in 2005 and has been featured in Wired Magazine, PC Magazine, and the Adventures of Superman. Interviews have included actor LeVar Burton, director David Cronenberg, architect Frank Gehry, and Virgin’s Sir Richard Branson, among many others. commandN is produced by Konnekt Creative Digital Engagement.

I am also the Communications Director for Nocturne: Art at Night, Halifax’s annual arts festival.

And now onto my day job... From project management to research synthesis and creatively disseminating findings through a variety of outlets, I enjoy managing communications and sharing knowledge. I coordinate patient education materials for an urban hospital network in eastern Canada. It's a lot like running my own small scale publishing house. I liaise with content creators, work through needed updates on an established schedule and polish everything until it's shiny-shiny. In recent years I have been a research team member and author on two Cochrane systematic reviews on health topics.
