Biography
Throughout her 24 years in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry, Laurie has demonstrated her commitment to improving the organizational effectiveness of clinical research programs. Optimizing the execution of clinical research programs requires a depth and breadth of experience not commonly found in the industry today. Laurie’s major accomplishments reflect her contributions and expertise throughout the multiple phases of the drug development process. Some of her accomplishments include leading clinical development in several biopharmaceutical companies from IND through late stage clinical trials, and reorganizing dozens of biopharma clinical research departments to optimize organizational efficiency. Laurie was recognized in 2010 by Pharmavoice as one of the 100 most inspiring individuals. She is well known as an industry expert - speaking, publishing and training throughout the world on best practices. She obtained her BSN from Russell Sage College, her MS from Leslie University and is on the faculty of Boston University Medical School.
