Biography
Leah Eichler is the founder of r/ally -- a mobile first knowledge management solution that answers "who knows what" inside enterprises. A widely recognized thought leader on the intersection of technology and workplace trends, Ms. Eichler is widely known for her weekly business column (Globe and Mail and the Huffington Post) and regularly appears in the media.
Ms. Eichler started her career as a journalist working in Jerusalem before returning to Canada, where she spearheaded Reuters’ entry into the digital age. She was responsible for developing and growing Reuters’ first mass consumer-facing website, Reuters.com. The site was a bold initiative for the 150-year-old wire service in many ways, including its commentary section and direct revenue generation. Leah was also responsible for Thomson Reuters' relationships with major digital media clients, such as Yahoo and MSNBC, maintaining contracts worth millions. She left Thomson Reuters in 2012 to launch r/ally.
She gave her first TEDx talk on the value of collaboration in the digital space in June 2013.
