Biography
As a former mathematics teacher, I have seen the pain that students endure in their math classes. With Common Core implementation just around the corner, the need to develop innovative educators to engage our students and help them succeed is greater than ever. This is my goal: inspire teachers to find a common vision for what mathematics education has the potential to be. This certainly requires more than an idealistic view of education! Speaking engagements and workshops will create an engaging environment in which the participant experiences the joy that mathematics education has the potential to bring to every student in every school. If your staff needs clarity and focus on the most important component of education, our belief about how students learn, then I'd like to be a part of your effort!
