Biography
Lisa Ghisolf is the owner of her own design firm, Gizmo Design, Inc., with 16+ years experience in print, web and email design. She has developed and designed web sites for Allstate Insurance, Merck Pharmaceuticals, ThoughtWorks and a variety of corporations and organizations. She also has created concepts and programs for advertising programs for Fujitsu and direct mail programs for the DuPage County Election Commission and Northwestern University athletics, and email newsletters for book launches, event and retail promotions and marketing campaigns.
Lisa has helped develop blogging software as early as 2005, and was interviewed in 2005 by The Chicago Tribune as a blogging expert. Using ideation to target audiences and create concepts that communicate client objectives clearly to audiences is one of her hallmarks.
Lisa graduated from the University of Iowa with B.A.s in art and journalism and has worked at advertising agencies including VWV, Brann Chicago, Edelmann Public Relations and Marketing Support.
