Biography

BIO: Lynda is an expert in attracting, maintaining and accelerating Foreign Direct Investment opportunities. With over 25 years of experience working in both the public and private sector, she has been instrumental in assisting close to 20 international economic development organizations, investment promotion agencies & special economic zones from around the globe.
For 10 years, Lynda worked in the investment division for the Canadian provincial government attracting international companies to set-up/expand operations. In 2016, she began her own FDI consulting practice and is currently working full-time for the government investment promotion agency of Barbados – Invest Barbados.
Ms. Arsenault is a board member for FITT - Forum for International Trade Training and previously sat as a regional board for The American Chamber of Commerce in Canada as well Program Chair & Board Member for The Canadian International Council (Canada’s Foreign Policy Council). She holds a Master’s Degree in E-Commerce (MEC) from Dalhousie University, an undergraduate degree from Saint Mary’s University and has obtained multiple diplomas in marketing, management and international business. Lynda has also obtained the Designation - Certified International Trade Professional (CITP).
