Biography
Magi Curtis has spent her career in healthcare, in both the policy and business sides of the industry. She specializes in helping healthcare executives through significant times of challenge and/or change so they can transform their organizations and achieve their business goals.
Magi has guided some of the nation’s leading health systems and provider-based organizations as they navigated enterprise level change management initiatives, strategic partnerships and post-merger integration, strategic positioning, government relations and significant issue campaigns, crisis events, and internal and external engagement efforts. She has also worked closely with the founders of emerging healthcare companies to scale their business and establish operational structures to maximize productivity and enable growth.
Prior to joining J.S. Held, Magi was a partner at a top national healthcare consulting firm (Jarrard, Phillips, Cate & Hancock, part of Chartis), where she built, grew and led their practice that served all of the firm’s national and academic health system clients across the country. Magi also worked in D.C. in health policy as a staffer in the U.S. Senate, at Navigant Consulting, and the Children’s Hospital Association.
Magi is a graduate of The Ohio State University. She is a member of Women Business Leaders in the U.S. Healthcare Industry (WBL), and she serves on the boards for The Healing Trust and The Ohio State University School of Communication.
