Marc Valera

Biography

Marc Valera is an actor and an alumnus of both LMU and the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. He has had the pleasure of working in many dozens of features, television programs, commercials, and plays with some of most talented actors in the industry including Felicity Huffman, Chris Cooper, Ted Danson, Ben Kingsley, Frances McDormand, and LMU's brilliant Linda Cardellini.

Marc has taught in studios around Hollywood for many years but has always returned to coach and teach the future professional actors that LMU produces. He is a passionate, boisterous instructor who requires full commitment from his students.

Marc has been running LMU's Kennedy Center/American College Theatre Festival class for a number of years. In this program, he facilitates the participation of approximately thirty LMU student actors, designers, and crew as they travel to various locations around the country to represent our school in this national competition. He is proud to have received feedback from many students that this program is the highlight of their collegiate careers.
