Rev. Mark Bandsuch is a marketing and business law professor at Loyola Marymount University. Prior to joining LMU, he taught at the University of Detroit Mercy, John Carroll University, and worked as an attorney at Rhoa, Follen & Rawlin Co., LPA. Bandsuch is a member of the College of Business Administration’s Ethics Task Force and served on the President’s Advisory Committee on Gender Equity in Athletics.

Sports have always provided a unique glimpse into the socio- logical soul of America - reflecting current social dynamics while simultaneously serving as an agent of significant social change. For example, professional sports excluded African-Americans from white teams and leagues for decades before becoming one of the earliest sources of equal rights when it began to integrate athletic competition.
