Biography
Mark Bowling is a Cannes Lion and Effie award-winning marketing and brand strategist. Recognised for successfully launching high profile brands and products, Mark is one of a handful of truly multi-talented global communications planners that can navigate the complexity of the international marketing ecosystem. Mark founded his marketing and coaching consultancy, Remarkability, in 2013.
For Samsung’s internal global Marketing and Communications training programme, Bowling would host over 200 hours of lectures and workshops per year. Concurrently Mark led a scheme for nurturing key emerging talent within Publicis Groupe in New York City with a uniquely hands-on approach.
In his previous agency roles, Mark would be actively leading a multitude of training initiatives across all areas of marketing and communications, and recently, in a single day, ran consecutive one-hour sessions training digital skills to almost 900 media practitioners.
He has been guest lecturer at Ngee Ann Polytechnic and Raffles Design Institute in Singapore, & the UK’s Watford Business School. Mark also has spoken at more than 20 conferences and served as a judge for numerous advertising and media awards including the Effies and Cannes.
Having been one of the first to study Advertising and Media as a postgraduate in the UK, and as a certified qualitative researcher, Mark’s experience has breadth and depth gained from almost 20 years in the marketing industry. Mark has worked in creative, digital and media agencies with regional and global roles based in London, New York and Singapore.
