Biography
I am on a mission to connect anyone who I encounter with meaningful and rewarding activities that I call their “Legacy Work”.
I do this in three ways.
In my professional life, I am a specialist in service management and process improvement within the IT and Telecommunications industry. In this capacity, I strive to enhance organisational capability, staff engagement and to assure successful delivery of project outcomes by contributing robust analysis and creative solutions to day to day activities. My core skills include applying an ITIL philosophy to service management as well as planning and documenting the service requirements for Cisco, Juniper and Alcatel-Lucent technology. I also actively apply my understanding of positive psychology and organisational culture to support the foundation of strong cooperative teams with effective modes of operating.
Outside the working environment, I manage a portfolio of original educational projects that are designed to allow learners to explore their potential as communicators, leaders and entrepreneurs. These projects include “The Art Of Speaking” and “The EnvistaLife Coaching Series” as well as an IANLP compliant NLP Master Practitioner Training for aspiring business owners. I have also previously consulted for organisations including Rotary, National Speakers Associate of New Zealand and Toastmasters to run trainings on communication and business networking skills.
Finally, in my spare time, I pursue diverse creative pursuits including public speaking, creative writing, blogging, chocolate making and continuous professional development in areas ranging from psychology, management studies, technology and culture. I also endorse several non-profit organisations including Practical Action, Kiva and The Royal Institution of Great Britain.
