Biography

Mary Magilligan is a mechanical engineer at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory who has worked on the Mars2020 Perseverance Rover, VITAL (Ventilator Intervention Technology Accessible Locally), Europa Clipper and various space mission concept studies. She was a vehicle engineer and a payload design engineer on commercial and government satellite payloads for Boeing. Mary graduated from University at Buffalo with a BS in Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering and a Computer Science minor then received a MS in Systems Engineering with a Mechanical Engineering technical focus from Loyola Marymount University.
