Biography
Mary Michele Little is on a mission to help women discover how beautiful they really are. As Founder of One Chic Mama, Inc., she knows firsthand that you can be pleased with nothing if you are not pleased with yourself and is committed to creating resources to educate and empower women to feel fabulous from the inside out.
With more than 2 decades of experience in the fashion industry, Mary Michele began her career designing hats and custom wedding gowns and moved on to design a line of women’s apparel that was sold in boutiques across the country.
Mary Michele has spent a lifetime being fascinated with personal style, and cultivating a style of her very own. From an early age she noticed a connection between what women wore and who they are, as well as the messages that one’s own personal style can send. She understands that when one’s self-expression is meaningful that it can help them stand out for all the right reasons! In 2010 Mary Michele created her proprietary StyleFinder™ System to help her clients clearly define their style and dress from the inside out.
Mary Michele is a national speaker, author and freelance writer. She was voted as one of the Triangle’s Most 25 Stylish People in 2012, is a board member at UNC-G (her alma mater), a regular guest on NBC 17’s My Carolina Today, a contributor to Triangle Style Magazine and author of the book, “Secrets of Style”. She is a member of Toastmasters International, Women’s Power Networking and volunteers for Dress for Success and Interact. Mary Michele lives with her family in Raleigh.
Some of her favorite things include dark chocolate, good red wine, anything handcrafted, good conversation, yoga, travel and living life on purpose. Learn more about her at www.onechicmama.com

Cyndi Johnson, Glaxo Smith Kline | Effortless Dressing Everyday
I was able to attend one of Michele’s group workshops which was very informative. She discussed and showed great examples during the presentation. She also reminded everyone, most importantly, that not all trends are for everyone. Michele provided an excellent environment for questions and was able to provide thorough answers to questions posed. I would recommend Michele as an excellent resource for promoting self image.
Pat Nathan, President | Dress for Success, Triangle
Working with Michele is a partnership. She notes styles and colors that appeal to me – and provides candid feedback. She has a good eye for color and the ability to select key pieces that really punch up the style level in my wardrobe. The end result is that I make decisions that result in clothing I get much more wear out of individually and am able to incorporate into a variety of looks. That translates to superb value – in the clothing and in her services.
Stephannie Renee’ Cooper Senegal, Nurse-Family Partnership Nursing Supervisor | Nurse-Family Partnership Retreat, Umstead Hotel
I first met Michele at a talk at a local clothing store and was impressed with her inner beauty and outer style. When I had the opportunity to plan an event for my staff I knew that she would be the perfect fit. Michele’s presentation was awesome! I love that her focus is not only on how we look on the outside but just as important how we feel on the inside. She encouraged us to redefine how we thought of beauty and to embrace who we are now. She brought a wonderful finale to our work retreat with grace and style. I am happy to recommend Michele Little for any event you may be planning that relates to style, image and inner beauty.
Michelle Vanhoy and Kerri Rhue, Executive Assistant | Novant Health, Star Program
Michele has presented multiple image empowerment trainings for the Administrative Professionals development program in our organization and each time the participants have received a wealth of information to help them boost their self image and look their best. We've enjoyed how she breaks this information down into bite sized pieces so that we really get what she's talking about. We would highly recommend Michele as a speaker and trainer. She's knowledgeable and personable, and really knows her stuff. You won't be disappointed.
