Biography
Matt Blieske is a business and technical transformation leader in the power, renewables, and oil and gas sectors. In his current role as Global Hydrogen Product Manager at Shell, Matt is responsible for reducing cost, improving reliability, improving the customer experience, and delivering differentiated technical and commercial capabilities.
Prior to joining Shell, Matt co-invented the novel hydraulically actuated isothermal CAES energy storage system during his time as the Director of Technology and Systems Development at General Compression. He also performed research into new fluid machinery technologies for OEMs at the Southwest Research Institute in San Antonio. Matt holds degrees in Engineering from Carleton University and from the University of Manitoba.
