He has a B.S. in cognitive neuroscience from Brown University and an M.S. in science writing from MIT. He's a former editor at Psychology Today and has also written for Wired, The Atlantic , Newsweek, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and others. He lives in New York City.
