Biography
Matthew Kohut has twenty years of professional experience writing and preparing speakers for both general and expert audiences. In addition to conducting communications training with KNP, he currently runs InFact Communications, which specializes in strategic written communications for clients such as NASA, the Department of Energy, the Environmental Protection Agency, and Harvard University. He is also currently a Fellow at the Center for the Advancement of Public Action at Bennington College. Prior to founding InFact and KNP, he was Director of Research and Publications for the Council for Excellence in Government. He previously worked at Harvard University as Research Specialist to the Dean of the Kennedy School of Government, serving as Professor Joseph Nye’s principal speechwriter and researcher for Soft Power: The Means to Success in World Politics. Matt holds a Masters in Public Administration from Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government and a B.A. from the Writing Seminars at Johns Hopkins University.
