Biography

Prof. Matt Manion is the David Grenon Family Faculty Director of the Villanova School of Business' Center for Church Management—the first of its kind in the nation, founded in 2004. The Center offers a Master of Science in Church Management and conducts research in the areas of administration, professional financial management and human resource management as they apply to the Catholic Church and its institutions.

As its faculty director, Prof. Manion's mission for the Center is to educate clergy and laity so they may better lead, plan, organize and steward the resources of their faith community. As a professor of practice at Villanova School of Business, he teaches courses on leadership, ethics, Catholic social teaching, organizational management and pastoral strategic planning.
