Who Am I?
Hi, my name is Medhanie Habte and I am something of a jack of all trades in the fields of nonprofit development, public policy, research, tech and media, with five years experience in such fields.
How'd I Get Here?
I received a Bachelor of Arts degree Cum Laude in Journalism from California State University, Northridge and a Masters in Public Administration Degree from California State University, Long Beach.
In my time as a student, i've completed various internships and volunteer opportunities, which ultimately led to my career in nonprofit development and digital media. My chief proficiencies in these fields are fundraising, volunteer coordination, campaign strategizing, marketing and public relations and content production.
My future goal?
Good question...While there is a lot of banter about creating a world of visionaries, I'd like to continue to help others and encourage activities positive in terms of human and sociocultural development, whether through fundraising, volunteering, business and nonprofit development and any other means of active community participation.
Ideally, my goal is to pursue or perpetuate a career in community service or education, with a focus on socioeconomic development.
