Biography
Michael Carvaines is a writer, director and editor of narrative feature and short films. He currently teaches screenwriting, dramatic production and video editing. He is passionate about independent film, international cinema and classic Hollywood. His areas of research include "film-within-a-film" stories where the audience and the characters are unaware of the narrative shift. Previously, Michael worked on the marketing and advertising campaign for over 100 award-winning movies including several that are now considered classics.
