Michael Moore earned his B.A. in Accounting from the University of Washington and his M.S and Ph.D. in Accounting from Pennsylvania State University. He has been on the faculties of The University of Texas at Austin, University of Southern California and University of California Riverside. During a break from academia, he was partner in a CPA firm for 11 years. His current research with the Marketing Accountability Standards Board involves aligning marketing and finance through measuring and reporting brand value. He is also completing the revision of his international taxation book. Michael is an avid runner and cyclist and enjoys living in Manhattan Beach.
