Biography
Mike Yonker has more than 21 years experience in mobile technology strategy, operations, marketing, and systems development. He has successfully founded and built profitable businesses at both startups and Fortune 500 companies alike.
At Rockfish, Michael led the Mobile Practice, building strategy, creative and solutions for clients including Sam's Club, P.F. Chang's, Nutro, Belk, Travel Channel, Walmart, Cooper Institute, and more. Michael managed the P&L tripling the revenue of the business in less than 1 year, with projections to grow over 9x by end of 2012. Prior to joining Rockfish, Mike built and led mobile electronic measurement systems at The Nielsen Company. He also co-founded Texas Instrument's successful OMAP™ mobile applications processor business, and then acted as the business' Chief Technologist, where Mike's products won numerous industry awards. He ran software engineering at Pixel Semiconductor, a startup that was acquired by Cirrus Logic.
Mike spends entirely too much time on planes and stuck in security lines and on malfunctioning aircraft, when he would prefer to be at home with friends and family, which never happens enough.

Mobile: Your Company's Drive Through Window
Mobile is like shopping at your store through a drive-through window. The interface between the customer and your data and products needs to be highly efficient and intelligent. The limitations of UI in mobile require simplicity, but the mix of rich capabilities allow for sophistication and intelligence.
