Biography
Michelle Stein is a Managing Director and Senior Portfolio Manager of the KSE Value Group at Neuberger Berman. The KSE Value Group is part of the Private Asset Management Division at the firm. Michelle joined Neuberger Berman in 1979. She began her career in the Research Department, was promoted to Research Analyst in 1983 and then shortly thereafter joined one of the established portfolio management teams as an Associate Portfolio Manager. In 1987, Michelle began to build a money management business which she managed independently within the portfolio management team until 1994 when she was given the opportunity to start her own portfolio management group within the firm. In 2002, Michelle teamed up with two long time Senior Portfolio Manager Colleagues to form the KSE Value Group.
Michelle earned a BA in Liberal Arts from the State University at Binghamton and an MSE from Syracuse University. She also received an MBA from New York University in 1987.
Michelle has a long term history of community involvement. She is currently a member of the Palm Beach Synagogue in Palm Beach, Florida.
