Biography
Michiko Inoue Schricker is a dedicated educator with a Master’s degree in Linguistics, specializing in Teaching Japanese as a Foreign Language. Having previously taught at UCLA and CSU Long Beach, she now brings her expertise and enthusiasm to LMU. Her academic interests include Language Pedagogy, Heritage Language Development, and Bilingualism—areas where she finds both professional fulfillment and personal connection.
Outside the classroom, she enjoys both anime and manga, with "Demon Slayer" and "Attack on Titan" as her favorites. In her free time, she loves cycling, playing tennis, and exploring local parks. Balancing her professional commitments and personal passions helps her stay energized and better connect with students.
