Michiko Inoue Schricker is excited to teach at LMU for the first time. She previously taught at UCLA and CSU Long Beach in addition to multiple private institutions. Her students typically describe her as energetic, caring, and patient. She holds a Master’s degree in Linguistics with Special Option in Teaching Japanese as a Foreign Language and a Graduate Certificate in Teaching English as a Second Language. She would love to explore further in the areas of Language Pedagogy, Language Acquisition, Heritage Language Development, and Bilingualism.
At home, she and her children adore the anime “Kimetsu no Yaiba” and the manga “Dragon Ball” more than anyone else in the town. She also enjoys playing tennis, riding her bike, and going to parks in her spare time.
