Biography

Min Cole is the Founder and the President/CEO of Quality of Life Group. She has a Master of Science and PhD Candidate in Applied Gerontology from the University of North Texas. She is the member of GSA, ASA, AGHE, ACHCA, and other academic associations of America. Currently she serves as a Senior Advisor for the Ministry of Civil Affairs of People’s Republic of China and the members of China Social Welfare Services Committee and China Aging Service System Development Committee. She is also serving as the consultant for China Loving Care Nursing programs and Tsinghua University Gerontology Center.

Min has over 10 years of experience of working for the Civil Affair Governments of China and was heavily involved in the international programs working with UN and other international organizations. On behalf of the Chinese government, she conducted many civil affairs related programs helping the Chinese Elderly, orphans and people with the needs. In the year 2000, she started her study and career in the United States focus on Aging Services.

From the year 2002, Min was working as the Program Director in Adult Day Health Care program and Federal PACE program in Southern California. At the same time, she was doing part time consulting work for aging service related community-based programs and Long Term Care services in the United States. She is the true professional linking the bridge between theory and practice.

Min created a not-for-profit organization Quality of Life Group in California in 2009 and now is promoting aging service programs and research in China and Untied States extended toward the world. She is now working as an aging service expert and consultant in china and promotes aging services related programs towards of goal of increasing the quality of life for the older adults.
