Biography
Born in Srinagar to a middle class family having a good area of agriculture land holding in Srinagar Gogjibagh now developed in a posh colony called Jawahar Nagar in the year 1947. Completed my post graduation in 1970 from Kashmir University and joined J&K Government service Department of Industries . Was associated with a newly created Industrial Corporation which was a conglomerate of 21 industrial units manufacturing different kinds of products which included woollen textiles , silk fabrics , leather goods, wooden joinery and furniture etc.Before my retirement in 2007 I was heading the Govt.Silk Weaving Factory as General Manager.
