Biography
Myra Batchelder has over 11 years experience leading programs & projects at international & national nonprofits. Currently, she is an independent consultant for nonprofits and other entities. Her clients include Ibis Reproductive Health, What Works for Women & Girls, & International Consortium for Emergency Contraception, based at Family Care International.
Technical expertise in sexual & reproductive health, rights, & justice issues on the global & domestic level. Focus areas include family planning, sex education, adolescents, abortion, HIV/AIDS, & improving access for people in poverty.
Previously, served as Director of Low-Income Access Program at National Institute for Reproductive Health, Program Officer at ICEC, Policy Analyst at Demos, Community Advocacy Manager at SIECUS, & Research Fellow at CLASP.
Served on the board of NNAF, NYAAF, & Advisory Board for Raising Women's Voices. Currently, Advisor for Global Health Corps. Co-founded Repro Health Happy Hour.
