Biography
Nancy Choe (PhD, LMFT, ATR-BC) has a special interest in using an interdisciplinary approach to promote holistic and creativity-driven wellness. Her research efforts in art therapy have focused on digital media, narrative medicine, material studies, and post-traumatic creativity. She works in private practice, teaches art therapy courses, and conducts exploratory research to enhance arts-based interventions in group settings. As a bicultural and bilingual therapist, Dr. Choe volunteers her time with organizations that support the mental health of Korean Americans and Koreans, including North Korean defectors.
