Biography
Nick Shelton is a life-long learner whose interests include philosophy, spirituality, and self-improvement. Nick currently works in Google's advertising division where he is finding the Good Life at one of the world’s best places to work. Nick earned his Master’s degree from Yale University in religion and philosophy after studying business and economics at the University of Oxford and Mercer University.
When not living the fun and exciting lifestyle of young businessman in San Francisco, Nick is pursuing his passion of helping others find lasting happiness and purpose in life. For the last three years, Nick has traveled to places like Hawaii, Hollywood, and monasteries in the mountains to find the best practical advice on life’s most important questions.
The Good Life Crisis is Nick’s fourth published book; and his first nonfiction project. Nick’s other passions include running, traveling, cooking, trying new things, meeting interesting people, visiting cozy bookstores, and smiling until it hurts. Nick currently attends Menlo Park Presbyterian Church and lives in Mountain View, CA.

Mercer University - Stetson School of Business and Economics: Bachelor, Marketing/Management 2008
Under the Mercer University's MAPS program, I am earning a bachelor's degree in both Marketing and Management. The MAPS program is a business degree that is customized according a student's interests and future career aspirations. Having an interests in Internet technology and creative writing, I have taken many egineering, English, and communications classes in addition to the standard business courses required to acheive a bachelor's degree. My official MAPS degree title is "Leadership and Marketing in the literary, technology, and religious fields."

I one study abroad experience through the Oxford Overseas Study Course. My concentration was in Economics, but I was able to take several great electives in the areas of Church history and Christian literature.

What is the Good Life
A brief look into what makes the ideal life in the 21st century. I highlight the most interesting insights I have gained after interviewing hundreds of people around the question about "What is the Good Life?" I have given this speech as a short introductory speech to a young adult audience for 10 minutes and had an hour conversation with a tech-savvy crowd that was 45 minutes of speaking and 15 of Q&A.
What am I supposed to be doing with my Life?
For this talk, I like working with college students and 20-somethings to get them to ponder the options in their life that will give them the most personal fulfillment.
