Biography
Nigel Bahadur is the founder and President of Structured Markets Inc. He has been an NFA and CFTC approved principal of SMI since September 30, 2008 and a registered associated person since November 13, 2008.
Since June 2001 Mr. Bahadur has provided consulting services to various commodity trading advisors and other related industry businesses. His two principal consulting clients includes LBRGroup Inc., a commodity trading advisor, and Futurepath Trading LLC, an introducing broker. Consulting services to LBRGroup were provided in the areas of technology, automated trading research and research and development of systematic trading models. As part of his consulting services to LBRGroup he was a registered associated person of such firm from November 2006 to January 2009.
Prior to creating his consulting practice, Mr. Bahadur was the Senior Vice President of Research and Development for EXE Technologies, Inc. which designs, develops, markets and supports fulfillment, warehousing and distribution software for ecommerce and traditional distribution channels. As one of the principal owners of the company, he spent 10 years helping the company and its predecessor, Neptune Software Inc., grow from 5 employees to 600 employees in 13 countries worldwide, culminating in an IPO in 2000. He was instrumental in developing cutting edge programs and technologies that solved complex global enterprise wide problems for Fortune 1000 companies. Mr. Bahadur was involved with EXE Technologies from July 1997 to June 2001.
Mr. Bahadur was also the Vice President, Research and Development, for Neptune Software Inc., which provided software, consulting and technology related services to clients primarily in the supply-chain/logistics field. He was responsible for multiple development projects for the company's core software products. Mr. Bahadur was involved with Neptune Software Inc. from May 1992 to July 1997 when Neptune Software was consolidated into EXE Technologies.
Mr. Bahadur continues to provide his consulting services to commodity related businesses. He has also been the Treasurer of American Association of Professional Technical Analysts, a nonprofit organization for professionals applying technical analysis to the financial markets.
Mr. Bahadur has applied his business experiences and acumen to develop the Structured Markets Trading Program. He established the Advisor in order to make his advisory services available to qualified investors.
