Biography
As a former aerospace engineer-inventor and now a licensed hypnotherapist and professional trainer, Patricia Croghan's expertise is in targeted use of the brain as a cosmic transmitter/receiver that can harvest original ideas from the quantum field. Some of the world’s most important scientific discoveries and inventions have come from trance or dream states. Her workshop, Quantum Brain Lab®, teaches researchers, engineers, software/hardware designers, or anyone in search of original ideas, simple techniques to enter a self-directed trance state where they can test different theories and product configurations, troubleshoot design problems, and even receive visionary business ideas.
Patricia's presentations are intellectually stimulating and filled with her passion for knowledge of the extraordinary kind. Her keynote speech topics range from cutting-edge alternative energy science, to maximizing employee contributions by investing in them as a valued "brain trust", and the link between specific emotions and genius thinking. She is an advocate of Biomimicry, the science of tapping into Nature's million-year-old templates for innovative sustainable designs.
Her book, Roads to Freedom, self-published in 1992, discusses the potentials of solar and other alternative energies. Her latest book on how to tap into the genius powers of the brain is scheduled to be released in 2016.

Ms. Croghan's Seattle company, Computer Tutorial Services, specialized in one-on-one computer instruction. Patricia invented an imaginative typing game to teach the entire keyboard in just 3 hours. But since the brain needs time to store info as long-term memory, the class had to be extended to 1 hour of instruction for 3 days. The average exit typing speed for students after 5 hours of practice was between 30 - 40 words per minute.

Edited and produced a documentary, “Reach For Your Dreams, Celebrate Abilities....One Man’s Journey to Healing”. A true story about a Downs Syndrome boy that overcame his disabilities through martial arts, dance, art, and public speaking. Now a young man, he is an int'l performer, speaker, performer and artist. This video received a standing ovation upon its premiere at the 2009 Ireland International Downs Conference. and was invited to the 2010 Netherlands Downs Conference.
Technical Representative re Wastewater Treatment (professional)

While employed with Resources Conservation Company (RCC) in Kirkland, Washington, Ms. Croghan served as a Technical Representative to coal-fired utility companies with cleanup of their industrial wastewater. RCC, in partnership with other companies, designed and built one million gallons/day industrial wastewater cleanup units.
Co-Inventor of the First Laser Wire Insulation Vaporizer (professional)

While working at Boeing Electronics Company, I was co-inventor of a machine that vaporized the insulation off wire prior to soldering wires together. The concept and overall design were mine, and the laser technology was contracted out. I designed the mechanical apparatus that presented the wire products to the laser beam, and wrote the software enabling the laser Operator to specify wire gauge and laser power levels. This laser machine is now a bench model found in machine shops worldwide.

I have enjoyed an exciting R&D engineering career that has spanned across electrical, electronic, mechanical, chemical, manufacturing and environmental applications. I have also received education in law as a certified paralegal, in mental health as a certified hypnotherapist, and as a television and video producer.
