Biography
As a recognized leader in a new generation of PR executives, Patti founded Penman PR, the firm that has become one of the most innovative independent PR firms in the nation and the only international public relations firm to offer 100% senior-level representation. In addition to overseeing client services, talent management and business development for Penman, Patti is the lead instructor for the firm's training division, Penman PR Training Institute.
Patti is an active in several professional organizations, including Austin Community College (faculty), former editor of NanoExpress News, Nanotechnology Now (Columnist), Nano Advancement Center (Founding Member), Nanotechnology Research Foundation (Founding Strategic Advisor), and author of "Getting Your Message Across" for the Inside the Minds book series and “Issues and Strategies for Marketing Nano Inside" Issue 5.4, Nanotechnology Law & Business.
A life-long athlete, Patti also owns a CrossFit gym, is CrossFit L1 and Endurance Cycling certified, and in 2013 was awarded Austin's Fittest Entrepreneur 3rd Place, Fittest Over 50 and Most Influential by Fit Company.
