Biography
Patricia Takacs studies how people engage with political information in an era shaped by media influence and questions of credibility. She examines how information literacy can foster civic literacy and strengthen trust in political discourse. As the Political Science Librarian and liaison to the Bob Graham Center for Public Service, she supports students and faculty in navigating complex information landscapes. Patricia employs literacy-focused and design-based approaches to explore how individuals interpret, evaluate and use media in civic and educational contexts.
