Biography
Paul Burdell continued on his business path and in 1998, co-founded Link Financial Group and LCM Partners where, as CEO, he is responsible for new product development, Group strategy and direction, as well as managing many of LCM’s key client relationships. Concurrently, with his Group responsibilities, from 2008 to 2016 he was a Senior Adviser to the European Central Bank on its ABS Loan Level Data initiative as well as the Architect and co-founder of the European DataWarehouse.

LCM Partners, a leading European Alternatives Investment Manager, today announced that it has acquired a substantial portfolio of Spanish, unsecured non-performing and re-performing consumer and SME loans from Aiqon Capital Group, an Asian investor exiting the market. This deal sees LCM buy approx. €6 billion of assets, comprising 400,000 individual loans, making this the largest secondary purchase of unsecured NPLs in Spain to date.
