Biography
I spent almost 20 years as a tax and estate planning lawyer. Along the way, I've served as a trustee and on the Louisiana Board of Tax Appeals for eight years, appointed by Governor Foster. Today, I consult with estate planning lawyers, CPAs and others on estate planning and business valuation, principally reviewing draft business valuation reports. I am available on a per diem or per hour basis. I also do a lot of speaking and writing. I also serve as a trust protector. I have co-authored two books: A Reviewer's Handbook to Business Valuation (with Timothy R. Lee) and Estate Planning for the Blended Family (with Emily Bouchard).
