Biography
Paul C. LaBarge, C.M. is a founding partner of LaBarge Weinstein LLP, a corporate law boutique nestled in the nation’s capital since 1997.
Since inception, LaBarge Weinstein LLP has been a leader in the technology sector, establishing a client-centric firm that provides responsive, creative and effective advice and solutions to clients. Now with offices in Vancouver, Toronto and Ottawa LaBarge Weinstein is a business law firm that helps clients across Canada, from start-up to exit.
As part of his day-to-day practice, Paul focuses on taxation, tax planning and tax litigation. However, through his 40+ year career has built upon his expertise to encompass mergers and acquisitions, cross-boarder financings, dispute resolution and trade law.
Paul is an active member of the technology industry and long-standing member of the Canadian Advanced Technology Alliance (CATA) where he currently sits on the CATAAlliance Innovation Leadership Council (ILC). Paul is also the current Chairman of the University of Ottawa Heart Institute, as well as recent recipient of the Order of Canada.
