Paula Tapia, C-IAYT, E-RYT500, YACEP, is an international Yoga educator and a mindfulness and wellness expert specializing in integrative health, self-care education and lifestyle modification techniques. Brought up in the spiritual traditions of South American shamanism and trained in the therapeutic lineage of Sri T. Krishnamacharya, Paula is the Yoga Therapist, Mindfulness Advisor and Research Associate at Attune Health, an Autoimmune & Inflammation Care and Research Center in Beverly Hills, CA. She is also an instructor in the Yoga and The Healing Sciences Program at Loyola Marymount University, CA and the Director of a clinically based, stress-reducing Restorative Yoga Program designed for Yoga teachers, fitness professionals and healthcare practitioners.

A lifelong dancer and athlete, Paula has been teaching creative and intelligent forms of movement for over 20 years and her multi-faceted approach to healing includes Yoga-based healthy lifestyle training, dance, fitness & aqua therapy, functional movementology, prevention consulting and physical rehabilitation. Her experience includes work at chiropractic wellness centers, physical therapy and rehabilitation clinics, athletic/sports clubs, Yoga festivals, Yoga studios, an internship as a Yoga Therapist at the Simms-Mann Free Family Clinic in Venice and work as a bilingual medical interpreter at Cedars-Sinai and at other L.A. hospitals and leading doctor’s offices. Born and raised in Chile, Paula shares Yoga globally in English and Spanish.
